HomeCook — home-kitchen meal marketplace
A marketplace app connecting diners with home kitchens, local shops and made-to-order cooking. HomeCook carries four different ordering models in one product: scheduled meals from home kitchens with live lunch and dinner portion counts, everyday shops such as burger, pizza and snacks, custom made-to-order items like cakes and pitha that each carry their own lead time, and catering for events. The design set covers the loading and sign-up screens, home, kitchen and shop browsing, dish detail and bottom sheets, a date picker for scheduled orders, cart, checkout and payment, order confirmation, a wallet with recharge history, separate meal and product order histories, side navigation, settings, FAQ and about.

Home kitchens do not behave like restaurants. They cook a fixed number of portions per sitting, take custom orders days in advance and cater events — models a standard food-delivery cart cannot express. Forcing all of it through one 'add to cart' flow either hides the constraints or blocks the order.
What we did
The catalogue is organised by ordering model rather than by cuisine. Home kitchens surface remaining lunch and dinner portions on the card itself, made-to-order items show their delivery lead time before the order is placed, and event catering gets its own entry point. One cart and checkout absorb all four models, backed by a wallet and recharge history so scheduled and custom orders can be prepaid, and order history is split by meal versus product so the two rhythms stay legible.
